Mandailing Washed

Unlike any other coffee around the world, Mandailing was not named after the region where the coffee beans are grown, but rather it was named after an ethnic group living in the region.

Removing the fruit flesh with a machine is the first step in the washed process.
Afterwards, the coffee beans are fermented in a water tank and washed to remove any remaining fruit flesh.
The washed process brings out the bright and acidic flavours in the coffee with a clean aftertaste.
