As an effort to reduce food packaging and plastic waste, Tanamera Coffee released its own cooler bag, made from upcycled burlap and aluminum insulation. The cooler bag keeps beverage temperature in a stylish and sustainable way.
In line with its sustainability movement, Tanamera Coffee also released this cutleries set as a reusable alternative to plastic cutleries for takeaway. Made from upcycled materials, the cutlery set is packaged in reclaimed burlap and black canvas with aluminum insulation.
Enviromenatally Friendly Cup
Tanamera Coffee’s sustainability movement encompasses most aspects of the coffee-drinking experience, one of which is releasing the Tanamera Coffee environmentally-friendly cups. Made from coffee grounds waste mixed in the clay, these cups are crafted carefully by local artisans and available in white or grey colorways.
GUNNY SACK TOTE BAG & BUCKET HAT
Reutilizing used green beans gunny sacks, Tanamera Coffee decided to release the Gunny Sack Tote Bag, which comes in three types: Wide, Square, Freeform. In line with Tanamera Coffee’s sustainability movement, the brand doesn’t stop with totebags, it also reuses gunny sacks to make stylish bucket hats for fashion enthusiasts.
PLAY WITH PONKA T-SHIRT
Tanamera Coffee’s collaboration with artist Philip Ponk which features “Ponka”, a playful fictional figure that will spark curiosity on the coffee production process. The illustrated t-shirt design also pays homage to Pak Wayan, a representative of millions of coffee farmers. Additionally, the “Play With Ponka” t-shirt carries Tanamera Coffee’s sustainability message, reminding its wearers that the coffee they drink daily came from fresh beans carried by the gunny sack ornament on its side.

Lava Stone Tabletop
Found in select outlets, Tanamera Coffee features tabletops made of Lavastone, a result of a natural volcanic eruption from the active stratovolcano of Mount Merapi in Central Java, Indonesia. As a form of respect to its ecological nature, the tabletops are cut using ancient stone-breaking method. The use of this natural material is aligned with Tanamera Coffee’s sustainability movement, as well as the lavastone’s unique properties which include fire-resistance, UV color-stability, anti-stain, anti-scratch, waterproof, and anti-bacterial.

In the height of the pandemic, Tanamera Coffee released MyTanamera mobile app on PlayStore and AppStore in 2020, which continued on to the application of e-bills in January 2023. With this app, customers will get their electronic receipts directly to their app, and also get numerous benefits such as promo vouchers, sustainability messages, et cetera, as they join MyTanamera.
